Much Ado At Last
The Wedding of Emily and Simon
May 2026

Artyfolk had the joy of bringing the wedding of Emily and Simon to life at their beautiful Dorset campsite, Old Bidlake Farm.
Together, we created 'Much Ado At Last' – a festival-style summer weekend filled with creative workshops, a decorated maypole, a live music tent, hay bales and cosy corners with campfire strumming, a potluck BBQ, a food truck, and plenty of cups of tea served in ceramics made by Hannah Bloomfield.
A huge thank you to the guests who shared their creativity by leading workshops for one another, including a special woodblock printing session using the original blocks of the bride's grandmother, celebrated artist Diana Bloomfield.
After a delicious lunch from Redbrick Cafe set in the orchard, everyone gathered for a heartfelt ceremony led by storyteller Martin Maudsley. Rooted in the beauty of Dorset and rhythm of the seasons, and woven together with music and love, it was a deeply personal celebration, accompanied by beautiful singing from Isabel Saunders - leaving hardly a dry eye in the meadow.
It was an honour to create such a warm, authentic celebration that reflected the kind and loving spirit of Emily and Simon.

Couples Painting
Private Workshop
September 2025

Artyfolk hosted an intimate couples painting workshop at our studio, bringing a small group together for an evening of painting, food and quality time.
Over the course of the evening, each couple was taken step by step through building a portrait of their partner. Starting with simple shapes and observations, we gradually built up the paintings, exploring colour, proportion and expression along the way.
Drinks and food were served throughout the evening with plenty of good-natured teasing as everyone tried their best to capture their partner. It was a lovely chance for everyone to spend time together, have a laugh and bond. Each couple left with paintings of one another, made with love.

We love bringing Artyfolk into all sorts of spaces and occasions, and curating bespoke creative events.
Whatever the event, we’d love to hear about your idea and work with you to bring it to life.

Charity Fundraisers
Artyfolk began with a Clothes Swap Fundraiser, created by four friends who wanted to bring people together while doing something good for their local community. Since then, we’ve continued to run creative fundraisers supporting a range of local charities. We believe creativity can be a joyful way for people to connect, contribute and support causes that matter.

If you're interested in Artyfolk running a fundraiser for your cause,
we’d love to hear about it and work with you to bring it to life.
